At Chichester Vets, we believe in a simple idea: vets should focus on caring for animals, not selling to their owners. As an independent practice, we don’t believe in sales targets, upselling, or putting profit before pets. Our team is free to do what they do best—provide high-quality, compassionate care.
We know that many vets and nurses working in corporate practices feel frustrated by the pressure to meet financial targets. That’s not how we operate. Here, your professional judgement is trusted and respected. You’ll be part of a supportive, experienced team who value veterinary integrity above all else.
Our practice is in the beautiful Sussex Downs, offering space, fresh air, and a calm environment for both staff and animals. With our on-site lab, x-ray, and surgical suite, you’ll have the tools and autonomy to deliver efficient, effective care. We also have visiting veterinary specialists, giving you the chance to expand your skills and progress your career without leaving the practice.
We’re building something different—an environment where you can thrive, grow, and enjoy being part of a close-knit, friendly team. If you’re a vet or nurse who wants to reconnect with the reasons you joined the profession, we’d love to hear from you.
Come and be part of a practice that puts pets, people, and passion for veterinary care first.
We always welcome vet students in their clinical years to provide vital extra-mural studies (EMS). We believe it is a key part of your training, and therefore put significant effort into maximising it as a learning opportunity. As part of your time with us, we will always try to get you hands-on surgical experience at the charity centre. If you would like to join us as part of your EMS, please submit your CV.
We support the training of SVN (Student Veterinary Nurses). Clients do have the opportunity to give, and if required, withdraw informed consent to SVNs being involved in the care of their animals.
Ready for the change you’ve been looking for? Join our independent countryside practice where vets and nurses are valued for their care, not their sales. Escape the corporate pressure and get back to doing what you love. Send us your CV today and discover what vet life should feel like.
